Beloved Nollywood powerhouse, Toyin Abraham, has once again captured the attention of fans and film lovers alike with the official trailer release of her highly anticipated movie "Iyalode". Shared via her Instagram page on May 12, 2025, the gripping teaser has since ignited a frenzy of excitement and countdowns ahead of its cinematic debut on June 6, 2025.
"Iyalode" not only marks a powerful return to the silver screen for the award-winning actress and producer, but also continues her streak of compelling storytelling following the success of "Alakada: Bad and Boujee", which premiered on December 20, 2024.
This new cinematic venture is directed by veteran filmmaker Adebayo Tijani and produced by Kolawole Ajeyemi—Toyin’s husband and fellow actor—alongside Film One Studios. The movie is scheduled for nationwide distribution by Film One Nigeria.
