Big Brother Naija winner and entertainer, Whitemoney, has addressed the viral allegations claiming he wore counterfeit designer footwear, particularly a pair of Louis Vuitton mules.
The reality TV star had posted a video flaunting an impressive collection of luxury shoes on social media, proudly showcasing his fashion sense. But shortly after, a luxury fashion watchdog called out one of his pairs, alleging the item was a replica, possibly purchased from a site known for selling imitation products.
Rather than respond with outrage, Whitemoney delivered a playful and confident clapback. In a follow-up video, he brushed off the controversy with humor, stating there’s no such thing as “fake shoes” in his world — only different grades of footwear.
Laughing as he displayed more of his shoe collection, Whitemoney said, “This is just a part of my stash. I’m even an ambassador for Grade A shoes. There’s nothing like fake shoes, my brother, just different grades. If you give me the original, I’ll thank you with all my heart.”
He went on to poke fun at the critics, referencing a pair of shoes he hadn't even worn yet: “Ehn T20luxury, see another one you’ll call fake. I never even rock this one. This one even has petals on it. And this other one—looks like Dior, but the ‘I’ don commit already!”
His witty take on the issue has sparked a wave of reactions across social media. While some fans praised his sense of humor and confidence, others continued to debate the authenticity of his designer wardrobe.
